Early voting for the November 3 general election opened Monday, October 19, at the Franklin County Clerk's office. In-person advance voting runs through noon on Monday, November 2.
Mail ballots count if postmarked no later than Election Day. They can also be dropped off at the clerk's office, or left in the drop box outside the historic Courthouse, until 7 p.m. on November 3. County Clerk Janet Paddock told KOFO some voters are unsure where to vote or how to get a mail ballot. Her office can help.
Ottawa voters will also see a data center question. A yes vote would hold any data center in the city to 25 megawatts of power, and a no vote would allow bigger ones. The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce planned to post video of its candidate forum online.
For details, see KOFO's reports on early voting, the voting schedule, the data center question and the candidate forum.
